Welcome to Lunacy of Light. My name is Lauren Korduner. I began this blog to explore my creativity through words. I hope to bring you little bits of poetry and literature by my favorite writers that will inspire, amuse, provoke, and/or move you, accompanied by my own thoughts and original images, of course. Without getting too esoteric, here you’ll find posts about poetry, literature, and my take on the world at large. I love a warm cup of coffee on a cold winter morning, listening to Bob Dylan records on vinyl, and discovering what new things the Universe has in store for me from day to day.
A southern California native, I earned my BA in English from the University of California, Irvine, where I also took courses in creative writing and received an Honorable Mention for the Bret Baldwin Prize in Poetry in 2002.
The phrase “Lunacy of Light” is derived from Emily Dickinson, poem 593.
